Kingfield has been home to Mt. Abram Regional Health Center since 1986. Residents and travelers alike access a variety of primary care services at the practice. In 2011, 1,499 residents from Carrabasset Valley, Coplin and Dallas Plantations, Eustis, Kingfield, New Portland, and Stratton, as well as other locations in and outside of Maine, utilized our services.

We offer check-ups for the entire family, care of acute and chronic conditions and referrals to specialty care and community services. In addition, our specialists help our patients enroll in programs that alleviate healthcare, medication and laboratory expenses. In the nineties, with the assistance of the Mt. Abram Regional Health Care Corporation, a board of committed local residents, the health center moved from its original home on Stanley Avenue to a more spacious location on Depot Street, the former Tranten Store.

Resting at the base of Sugarloaf USA, Mt. Abram Regional Health Center is at the core of Maine ski country. Aside from its notoriety as the home of the Stanley Museum, which displays the historic Stanley Steamers, Kingfield is also a welcoming closely-knit community. Kingfield residents and visitors enjoy annual events such as Kingfield Days, which provides live music, float races, and tasty treats. Year round opportunities such as skiing, hiking, golfing and many other recreational activities are available in and around Kingfield.
